List of Documents Required for Verification at JoSAA 2016 Reporting Center for Acceptance of Seat At IITs & ISM :-

Given below are the List of Original and Xerox Copies of Documents that Should be take along with the Seat Allotted Students for Verification at the JoSAA 2016 Reporting Center. Before Attending JoSAA 2016 Document Verification has to arrange Documents List in the order given below.

1. Two passport size photographs
2. Class XII performance check [format given]
3. JoSSA 2016 Provisional seat allotment letter
4. Undertaking by the candidate [format given]
5. Proof of seat acceptance fee payment by e-challan or internet banking of SBI [For SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 20,000/- For others: Rs. 45,000/-]
6. Photo identity card [issued by govt. agency/last attended school/Class XII admit card]
7. Original admit card of JEE (Advanced) 2016
8. Date of birth proof [Class X marks sheet or any other similar certificate]
9. Class XII (or equivalent) board marks sheet. If available, pass certificate
10. Medical certificate [format given]
11. Category certificate (OBC-NCL/SC/ST), if applicable [format given]

    • c. The OBC-NCL certificate should be dated on or after June 1, 2015. The certificate should clearly mention that the candidate belongs to non-creamy layer and the caste of the candidate must be in the state-wise central list of OBCs given at http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx
12. Certificate for Persons with Disabilities (PwD), if applicable [format given]
    • The certificate will be rejected if the disability is less than 40%
13. Passport (for foreign nationals) or OCI certificate or PIO card, if applicable
14. DS Certificate, if applicable [format given]
15. Registration-cum-locked choices for JoSAA 2016 seat allotment

Some Important Points Regarding JoSAA 2016 Document Verification at IITs :- 

1. Students must Arrange the Documents in the Order Published Above.
2. After Verification, photocopies will be retained by the JoSAA 2016 Reporting Centre
3. Original Documents for Students will be returned after Completing JoSAA 2016 Document Verification .
